About the role

Santander is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate to lead complex analyses, reporting, and strategic initiatives that drive business performance. The role partners with senior leaders across the firm to translate strategic objectives into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct unprecedented and complex analyses to support business operations, special projects, and strategic planning.
• Identify measurement gaps, design new metrics, and develop reports to fill those gaps.
• Review, synthesize, and present operational data in clear, decision‑ready formats.
• Lead high‑impact projects, assign work, monitor quality, and ensure timely completion.
• Act as a technical leader for ad‑hoc reporting and analytical needs.
• Build consultative partnerships with internal teams to align reporting with key performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, reporting, or strategic project leadership.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive data‑driven decision making.
