Software Product Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a senior Software Product Engineer to lead the design and development of cloud‑native, AI‑enabled healthcare platforms for a large federal government project. This 100% remote position requires U.S. residency and will work closely with engineering, product, and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build event‑driven, data‑intensive backend services in Node.js/TypeScript using AWS services such as Aurora, ECS, and SQS.
• Decompose complex healthcare and AI workflows into microservices, defining clear service boundaries and implementing both synchronous REST and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Drive test‑driven development (TDD) across the team, maintaining strong unit, integration, and contract test coverage.
• Develop AI pipelines that process structured and unstructured data to support intelligent decision‑making.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and DevOps practices for scalable AI systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production AI‑enabled systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to guide technical discussions.
