Social Media Lead

About the role

Render is seeking a Social Media Lead to grow and engage its developer community across platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord. You will be the public face of Render, turning technical wins into shareable stories.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day presence on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord, engaging developers and answering questions.
• Produce a regular cadence of short‑form technical content (threads, posts, code snippets, demos) and longer‑form assets (blog posts, videos, sample apps).
• Partner with Developer Relations to run AMAs, livestreams, hackathons, and community programs.
• Build relationships with developer creators, community moderators, and early adopters.
• Track impact through community growth, engagement, sentiment, and downstream sign‑ups.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years in developer marketing, community management, content creation, or a hands‑on engineering role with a public focus.
• Active, established presence on at least one major developer platform with a portfolio of content.
• Strong written voice and bias toward shipping fast and iterating.

Required skills

• Comfort with modern infrastructure and web frameworks.
• Ability to ship working code and create technical demos.
