Smart Home Sales Technician – Owings Mills

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned company, as a Smart Home Sales Technician. You will combine consultative sales, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service to help customers create smarter, safer, and more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers in homes, retail locations and events to recommend personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generate leads, follow up with prospects, close sales and install, service, and troubleshoot Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educate customers on system usage and represent Vivint professionally in the field and community.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills with a sales mindset.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass background and licensing requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs, climb ladders up to 14 ft, and work in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience installing, servicing and troubleshooting smart home equipment.
• Comfort learning and using smart home technology.

• Hourly base pay $24.99‑$28.54 plus performance‑based commissions and incentives, with uncapped earning potential.
