Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world‑class service, repair and re‑manufacturing in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. The Shipping Coordinator verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare items for ground carrier transport via wrapping, boxing and building crates.
• Secure items by strapping to pallets and operate a forklift to load and unload freight carriers.
• Update item status in the enterprise system and input data into vendor shipping systems such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship and Purolator.
• Create electronic Bills of Lading and ship items via freight carriers.
• Crate and file customer paperwork through Boarder Connect and complete broker documentation.
• Receive jobs from customers, walk‑ins and account managers, tag and scan items, and verify accuracy against records.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Use of hand tools for crate building.
• Experience with vendor shipping platforms (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship, Purolator).
• Data entry in enterprise shipping systems.
• Electronic Bill of Lading creation.
