About the role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Supply Planner ensures that all materials required for production are available across multiple plants. The role balances inventory levels, service targets, working capital and material costs while considering lead times and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan material replenishment for assigned plants based on orders, forecasts and inventory data.
- Coordinate capital project planning and align it with multiple departments.
- Communicate with key customers and execute forecasts to support project start‑ups.
- Monitor plant KPIs and prepare supplier reviewer meetings.
- Work with plant operations, schedulers and suppliers to resolve shortages and exceptions.
- Maintain optimal safety stock levels and adjust planning parameters.
- Collaborate with data analysts, master data management and global systems teams for data setup.
- Escalate issues impacting production schedules or customer deliveries.
- Identify and recommend improvements to material replenishment processes.
Required profile
- Educational background in supply chain, logistics, engineering or a related field (as indicated by the posting).
- Experience in material replenishment planning and coordination with plant operations.
- Ability to monitor KPIs, manage supplier performance and handle capital project planning.
