Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Quapaw, OK

About the role

Join 3M’s Quapaw plant as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will support the flow of materials across the warehouse, production areas, and external customers. This onsite position offers the chance to work with innovative teams while maintaining a safe, organized, and 5S‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized stock areas in stores, the warehouse, and production storage facilities.
• Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials safely between plant buildings.
• Prepare shipments by packaging, labeling, palletizing, shrink‑wrapping, and completing required documentation.
• Support inventory and procurement processes, including labeling crates and acting as a backup for purchase order execution.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, participate in 5S, 5D problem‑solving, and Lean Management activities.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, logistics, shipping, order processing, or a related operational role.
• One year of experience using computer‑based systems for data entry, order management, or inventory tracking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data entry systems and order management software.
• Experience with inventory tracking tools.
• Familiarity with Bill of Lading (BOL), Less‑Than‑Truckload (LTL), and Full‑Truckload (FTL) shipping processes.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
