Shift Supervisor (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Manufacturing Group Leader oversees production operations on a fixed 2‑2‑3 shift schedule, ensuring high quality output while maintaining profitability. The role involves supervising staff, managing work assignments, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of production employees, monitor attendance, and enforce safety and PPE compliance.
• Assign tasks, track productivity, and ensure the shift is properly staffed.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop standardized work procedures and eliminate waste.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training, including OJT and LMS completion.
• Analyze KPI data, compile reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred engineering or business degree).
• Previous manufacturing experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safety, 5S, and EHS programs.
• Understanding of engineering principles and production processes.
• Ability to use computer systems and office productivity tools.
