Senior Supplier Quality Specialist

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Specialist in Supplier Quality to join its Innovative Medicine External Quality team. The role supports supplier lifecycle management for over 3,500 suppliers across biotherapeutics, synthetics and advanced therapies, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own supplier selection, qualification, risk management, performance monitoring, issue management and compliance auditing for a portfolio of suppliers.
• Lead SQ QMS activities including nonconformances, investigations, change control and audits.
• Collaborate with site QA teams, procurement, planning and MSAT on supplier performance and material changes.
• Provide direct support during customer, regulatory and health authority inspections.
• Manage supplier relationships, project scope, and quality initiatives across the global JJIM network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering or technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product/supplier lifecycle management experience in biotherapeutics, synthetics or advanced therapies.
• Hands‑on experience with GMP and ICH regulations and regulatory inspections.
• Ability to travel 10‑15% and work effectively in a matrixed, global environment.
