Senior Scientist, Statistical Programming

About the role

The Senior Scientist, Statistical Programming will support statistical programming activities for late‑stage drug and vaccine clinical development projects, delivering high‑quality analysis and reporting deliverables across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute statistical analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures for individual trials and worldwide regulatory submissions.
• Design and maintain statistical datasets for clinical development, outcomes research, and safety evaluation.
• Collaborate with statisticians and project stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution and high‑quality deliverables.
• Lead one or more projects and serve as the statistical programming point of contact throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with 3 years or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Experience with CDISC and ADaM standards and complex programming algorithm development.
• Ability to understand analysis plans, statistical terminology, and stakeholder requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Required skills

• SAS programming (data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH).
• Knowledge of CDISC and ADaM standards.
• Design of statistical databases and compliance with industry best practices.
