About the role
The Senior Proposal Manager will lead federal government proposals from kickoff through final submission, ensuring compliance and high-quality content. This remote 1099/consultant position requires a Secret eligible clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Key responsibilities
- Plan proposal schedules and manage timelines.
- Handle compliance mapping, tracking, and ensure all solicitation requirements are met.
- Develop and rewrite content using existing boilerplate materials.
- Coordinate with technical contributors and subject‑matter experts.
- Perform comprehensive editing, formatting, quality assurance, and final packaging for submission.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Proposal Manager for federal contractors.
- Proven track record of winning DoD or civilian agency proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Required skills
- Excellent writing and editing abilities.
- Strong knowledge of federal proposal compliance and solicitation requirements.
