Senior Product Manager

About the role

The Senior Product Manager defines product vision, strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of payment services. They gather market research, understand customer needs and pain points, and lead analysis and business cases to translate concepts into new products, features, or functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategic vision for a product portfolio based on customer needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements through research, industry intelligence and customer feedback.
• Develop business cases and presentation collateral to secure alignment across Federal Reserve System workgroups and governance bodies.
• Collaborate with product managers to set priorities, maintain the roadmap, and act as the intake point for internal improvement requests.
• Write epics for development teams and operate within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts in sales, marketing, analytics, research, UX design, architecture, security, development and customer support to bring products and features to market.
• Set strategic vision and priorities for the product roadmap, leading initiatives from concept to launch.
• Achieve revenue targets in partnership with sales and marketing and oversee ongoing revenue management, trends and forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• Ten or more years of relevant work experience.
• Expert knowledge of product‑management principles and practices.
• Ability to understand and envision relevant technology and software applications.
• Strong understanding of the securities business, customers and Federal Reserve product suites.
• Proven ability to lead product strategy and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Independent thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and consultative skills.
