Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead design, analysis, testing, and installation of mechanical and electromechanical systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering aspects of projects, including design, analysis, testing, and hardware installation.
• Review customer statements of work, specifications, and manuals to meet or exceed project requirements.
• Design mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and heat‑transfer components such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, and structures.
• Perform engineering analyses using FEA, CFD, hand calculations, and other methods.
• Direct fabrication, installation, and testing activities, ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO standards.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on design, simulation, and analysis techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work within project budgets and schedules.

Required skills

• SolidWorks 3‑D solid modeling.
• ANSYS (or SolidWorks Simulation) for structural FEA.
• ANSYS CFX / FLUENT or SolidWorks Flow Simulation for CFD.
• MATLAB for data analysis and scripting.
• Microsoft Office suite.
