Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Capital Coordinator

About the role

Bosch Charleston is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate capital projects for high‑pressure gasoline pumps and fuel injectors. The role involves audit preparation, equipment acquisition, and cross‑functional project leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate audit activities, prepare for and close open points from fixed‑asset audits.
• Plan releases as manufacturing contact, coordinating builds and line preparation with the MFE team.
• Facilitate RFQ processes between MFE, internal purchasing, and machinery suppliers.
• Manage capital equipment acquisition, including justification, cost calculation, quotation, MAR process, and payback analysis.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to approve equipment acquisition and retirement.
• Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization aligned with Policy Deployment objectives.

Required profile

• BS in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic organization.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and self‑starter mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and project‑management skills.
