Manufacturing Engineer – Automated Assembly

About the role

The Line Planner is responsible for the daily technical performance of an automated high‑volume production line, acting as the primary engineering partner to Operations. You will ensure safe, stable and efficient production while driving rapid issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily technical performance, monitor machine status, production flow and key metrics, and communicate risks to Operations.
• Lead structured escalation of safety, quality, delivery and equipment issues, coordinating cross‑functional resources.
• Drive rapid problem solving to restore standard conditions, verify corrective actions and escalate systemic issues.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation, support standard work adherence and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor performance trends, support production planning and assist with launch activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing or production engineering experience in automated high‑volume environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Root cause analysis methods (8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Statistical process understanding and manufacturing KPIs (OEE, FPY, scrap, downtime, cycle time).
• Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with MES, ERP or production monitoring systems.
• Databricks and query language experience (preferred).
