Spring Quality Engineering Co‑op – QMM6 1st Shift

About the role

This co‑op position works in Bosch Charleston's Measurement and Calibration Laboratory, supporting both lab and production floor activities under the guidance of senior metrology engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Learn to use, inspect and calibrate dimensional and electronic measuring equipment across the plant.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications for gauges and parts to be inspected.
• Obtain data and conduct statistical studies (capability, Gage R&R, measurement uncertainty) to evaluate equipment suitability.
• Assist in developing and improving calibration instructions.
• Support quality and cost‑improvement initiatives related to measuring equipment.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an accredited four‑year college pursuing a B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Sophomore level or above with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); PowerBi and/or AI preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
