Senior Managing Consultant – P&L Optimization (Strategy & Transformation)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to lead P&L Optimization initiatives within its Advisors & Consulting Services division. The role focuses on helping issuers and payments clients quantify product economics and make high‑stakes decisions across consumer, small‑business, and commercial card portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements across multiple industries, delivering data‑driven strategies and programs.
• Direct the development of regional and global client strategies by leveraging Mastercard’s data and technology assets.
• Interface with client executives and functional leaders to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Transform client data into clear insights, build defensible P&L and business case models, and craft executive‑ready storylines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level consulting experience, preferably within financial services or payments.
• Subject‑matter expertise in P&L optimization and product economics.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage high‑impact projects.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with senior client stakeholders.
