Finance & Operations Manager

About the role

Silverline, a leading woman‑owned PR agency focused on clean energy and climate technology, is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee daily financial, operational, and HR activities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the fractional CFO and HR advisors to ensure smooth, efficient processes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Track cash flow, working capital and flag financial risks.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
• Own the full AR and AP cycles, from client/vendor setup to invoicing, collections and payments.
• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages, including P&L, variance analysis and key metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling for leadership.
• Administer HR processes such as onboarding, off‑boarding, employee lifecycle changes and benefits coordination.
• Oversee office operations, vendor relationships and time‑keeping systems.

Required profile

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable designing and implementing end‑to‑end processes.
• Proactive communicator able to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in a similar finance and operations role, preferably in a fast‑growing environment.
