Senior ITAD Technician & Team Leader

About the role

Our client is a well‑established technology refurbishment business seeking a Senior ITAD Technician & Team Leader to drive the secure disposition and refurbishment of IT assets. You will lead a skilled team, ensure compliance with data‑security and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of ITAD and refurbishment technicians.
• Oversee secure data wiping, refurbishment, and disposal of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers and networking equipment.
• Ensure compliance with data‑security, environmental and health & safety regulations.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality control metrics.
• Train, mentor and develop team members.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking, reporting and inventory management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ITAD, IT hardware processing, or device refurbishment.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of data sanitisation standards such as Blancco or ADISA.
• Strong understanding of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers and networking gear.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
