Senior IGA Engineer – SaaS Identity Governance & Administration (Saviynt)

About the role

The Senior IGA Engineer will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support enterprise Identity Governance & Administration solutions, focusing on Saviynt EIC. You will translate security and business requirements into scalable, supportable IGA capabilities across SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy and maintain Saviynt EIC solutions for enterprise IGA use cases.
• Build and enhance Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, and termination controls.
• Configure access request workflows, approval chains, entitlement governance, access policies, roles, and delegated administration.
• Develop and maintain access certification campaigns, reviewer logic, escalation paths, remediation workflows, and reporting.
• Onboard SaaS, cloud, database, directory, and enterprise applications using Saviynt connectors and custom integration patterns.
• Create integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, JDBC/SQL, web services, file‑based feeds, and scripting.
• Troubleshoot Saviynt workflows, rules, analytics, jobs, tasks, connection configurations, imports, provisioning actions, and technical controls.
• Implement RBAC, role engineering, entitlement structures, Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls, and least‑privilege patterns.
• Diagnose complex identity data, provisioning, reconciliation, connector, API, workflow, and performance issues.
• Produce reusable engineering patterns, technical documentation, configuration standards, runbooks, test evidence, and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with IAM architecture, cybersecurity, application owners, infrastructure, HR, audit, and engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews, release management, incident/problem management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous platform improvement.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on Saviynt implementation and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on development experience in identity lifecycle management, provisioning, certifications, and role/access modeling.
• Proven ability to translate security and business requirements into scalable IGA solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including cybersecurity, application owners, and audit.
• Senior‑level expertise with Saviynt EIC and enterprise IAM concepts.
