Software Engineer – C++ for Azurion Eye

About the role

The Software Engineer will join the Image Guided Therapy Devices software R&D team in Plymouth, MN, focusing on the Azurion Eye program. You will help develop data‑driven, machine‑learning‑enabled clinical imaging workflows and collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product owners, testers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into clinical imaging features using solid design principles.
• Implement high‑quality, real‑time C++ components and UI elements.
• Run static code analysis, conduct peer reviews, and maintain Software Design Description documents.
• Perform unit and manual testing to verify functionality, including edge‑case scenarios.
• Follow Philips Agile QMS processes and produce regulatory documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of software development experience, including embedded C++ work.
• Experience with desktop UI frameworks (Qt) and development tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across matrixed, global teams.
