Senior Full Stack Developer – Remote

About the role

VetsEZ is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a large federal healthcare technology program. The role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern web applications, APIs, and supporting services across the full technology stack. Candidates must reside in the continental United States and be able to obtain a government clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support full‑stack applications using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Create APIs, user interfaces, business logic, and data access components that enable platform workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, QA, and DevSecOps teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and release support.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and coding standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience covering front‑end, back‑end, and database work.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery processes.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance.
