Senior Frontend Engineer – Satellite Internet Console

About the role

Amazon Leo is building a global satellite‑internet service. As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Leo Commerce Console team you will design and deliver the web platform that lets customers purchase, manage and maintain their satellite connection. Your work will be the first point of interaction for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build highly available front‑end applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX designers and product managers to define and deliver integrated features.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates and champion consistent coding standards.
• Own the full development lifecycle from design through deployment and operational excellence.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and resolution of production issues.
• Identify and implement technical improvements that reduce toil and increase reliability.
• Document system design, operations and onboard new team members.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional front‑end development experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 5+ years creating prototypes or wire‑frames for enterprise web applications.
• Experience with MVC/MVVM frameworks such as React, AngularJS or Vue.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status as required by export‑control regulations.
