Senior Financial Analyst – Finance Partner

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) supports financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, billing and reporting across multiple U.S. contracts and operating companies. Working closely with Operations leadership, the SFA translates complex financial data into actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Finance and program leaders to analyze contract performance, revenue trends, cost drivers and margin results.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, build dynamic financial models and prepare variance analyses (budget vs. actual vs. forecast).
• Ensure billing accuracy, track accounts‑receivable aging and improve collection timing.
• Prepare contract‑level and consolidated reporting packages, dashboards and KPI summaries for leadership.
• Support month‑end close activities, including validation of accruals, prepaid items and revenue entries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting within a contract‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to communicate financial results to non‑financial audiences.
• Ability to work independently, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
