Senior Data Analyst – Strategic Finance

About the role

Vanta is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Finance team and drive strategic insights that shape company‑wide planning, forecasting, and decision‑making. You will work at the intersection of finance and data, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep, prioritized analyses that inform high‑impact financial decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, RevOps, Product, Marketing and other teams as a technical partner.
• Automate recurring deliverables and scale analytical workflows to improve team efficiency.
• Build and maintain self‑service dashboards and data assets that surface trends for decision‑makers.
• Partner with Data Engineering to enhance analytics infrastructure and democratize access to high‑quality data.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a related function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business or a similar field.
• Proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable business insights.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and building relationships with stakeholders of varying data fluency.
