Senior Financial Systems Engineer

About the role

Vanta is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Engineer to own the health and evolution of our Procure-to-Pay and FP&A technology stack. You will lead the design, configuration, and operation of key finance systems and drive integration across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture, configuration, and operational health of the Zip P2P platform, including workflows, customizations and integrations.
• Lead the implementation of Vanta’s first Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tool, manage the partner rollout and own post-launch support.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics to design the Finance and Accounting data model in Snowflake and translate business requirements into SQL data pipelines.
• Design and maintain integrations between NetSuite and systems such as Salesforce, Stripe, Anrok, Tesorio, Workato, Zip, Snowflake and Slack using iPaaS and direct APIs.
• Partner with Procurement, AP, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, GRC, RevOps and other stakeholders to turn business needs into durable system solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial systems engineering or analysis within a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay processes and administration of procurement tools (e.g., Zip, Coupa, Ariba).
• Strong SQL skills, able to write, review and debug complex scripts.
• Experience implementing CPM solutions for FP&A (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Pigment, Anaplan).
• Proven track record building multi-system integrations using iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi) and APIs.
• Understanding of AI governance, auditability and SOX compliance frameworks.
