Senior Finance Controller – Broker‑Dealer Accounting

About the role

Webull is seeking a results‑driven Finance Controller with deep broker‑dealer accounting experience to lead the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for its U.S. broker‑dealer and subsidiaries. The role is highly visible, owning the close process, financial reporting and internal controls across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full month‑end close for several affiliated entities, including journal entry review, bank reconciliations and AP/AR oversight.
• Prepare and analyze Balance Sheet, P&L, equity and cash‑flow statements.
• Drive efficiency and automation in the closing process.
• Develop forecasts, budgets and internal financial reports.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, building effective policies and processes.
• Research and document accounting pronouncements and assess impact on reporting.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, including testing and remediation.
• Serve as liaison with auditors, tax accountants and regulatory exam teams.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of broker‑dealer accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree optional).
• CPA license.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proven track record managing multi‑entity close processes.
