Senior Director, Clinical Development Metabolism (MASH)

About the role

The Senior Director (Sr. Principal Scientist) leads planning and execution of late‑stage clinical research for metabolism‑focused medicines, especially MASH and obesity‑related disorders, within the Atherosclerosis & Metabolism therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee clinical trials, from strategy through regulatory reporting and publication.
• Monitor ongoing studies, analyze safety and efficacy data, and support new drug applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including regulatory affairs, statistics, manufacturing, and commercialization.
• Maintain scientific expertise, engage leading investigators, and represent the company at scientific meetings.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD with industry or senior academic experience.
• Minimum 3 years clinical medicine and 3‑5 years drug development experience.
• Proven track record overseeing clinical studies and scientific scholarship.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
