Senior Customer Support Director

About the role

The Senior Customer Support Director acts as the voice of the customer within Airbus Customer Support and Services, overseeing post‑sales activities for strategic customers and leading cross‑functional, multinational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the In Service Core Team to drive Airbus customer service strategy and ensure a single voice per customer across the aircraft life‑cycle.
• Coordinate post‑sales activities, including Entry into Service preparation, daily support, and End of Operations management for Cat 1S and Cat 1 accounts.
• Identify customer needs, promote and support the sale of Customer Services products, and provide high‑level support to the aircraft sales team during marketing phases.
• Lead at least one transversal transformation project to improve global customer satisfaction, efficiency, or harmonise processes across regions.
• Represent regional customer support to senior Airbus leadership and act as head of the regional support team, including personnel management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years aerospace experience, including 3 years as a Customer Support Director for Category 1 customers.
• Professional qualification in aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Strong aviation safety awareness and knowledge of contracting principles.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams without hierarchical authority.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English, resilience under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
