Senior Claims Specialist – General Liability Construction

About the role

Zurich is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join its Commercial General Liability team, focusing on construction-related claims. The role operates in a hybrid model, allowing flexibility while supporting in‑person collaboration when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Handle multi‑party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity within authority limits.
• Interpret General Liability policies, conduct coverage analysis, and resolve claims efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers to deliver a customer‑centric claims experience.
• Develop knowledge of industry best practices, litigation strategies, and financial reserving concepts.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor with 2+ years of claims or litigation experience, or equivalent education and experience combinations as listed.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid understanding of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
