Senior Associate – Deals Capital Markets Accounting Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate for its Deals – Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services team. You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structures for mergers, acquisitions, IPOs and other transformational events.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting issues related to deals and business transformations.
• Analyze financial data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to navigate regulatory reporting and capital‑market transactions such as IPOs and debt raising.
• Lead project coordination, ensuring quality outcomes and timely delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and help build lasting client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state of employment.
• Preferred academic background in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience with capital‑market transactions, including IPOs and debt raising.
