Senior Account Manager – West Region

About the role

Dematic, a brand of the KION Group, is seeking a senior‑level account manager to grow its regional business in the western United States. You will sell complex logistics and automation solutions to large distributors, partnering with customers to design end‑to‑end supply‑chain improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account penetration plans for targeted accounts.
• Qualify new opportunities, coordinate with solution development, project management, engineering, and finance to deliver integrated solutions.
• Present value propositions and ROI analyses to senior supply‑chain executives.
• Lead internal expert teams to negotiate and close complex enterprise deals.
• Manage high‑revenue opportunities to meet revenue and margin targets and provide recommendations to improve volume and market share.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; engineering degree is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of experience selling complex, technical solutions to distribution or logistics companies.
• Proven ability to negotiate multi‑million‑dollar contracts at the C‑suite level.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce.
• Experience with supply‑chain execution software.
• Knowledge of strategic selling methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman).
