Senior Account Director – Fashion (LA or NY)

About the role

PURPLE, a global lifestyle communications agency within the Together Group, is seeking a Senior Account Director for its Fashion division. The role can be based in Los Angeles or New York and focuses on generating maximum brand exposure through product placement, profile features, and launches for luxury fashion clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, develop cohesive communication strategies, and act as a trusted advisor.
• Coordinate cross‑agency resources in NYC, London and LA to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Manage media relations, secure editorial coverage, and maintain relationships with key journalists.
• Oversee product‑related media requests, sample distribution, and inventory tracking.
• Mentor junior team members, manage account managers, and drive new‑business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in fashion PR and communications.
• Strong commercial track record in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Established network of fashion press contacts in the US and internationally.
• Experience managing events, including Fashion Week launches.
