Seasonal Steward – Hamptons (May‑Oct 2026)

About the role

Join the Discovery Land Company team for a seasonal position supporting the Culinary Department at two Hamptons locations – Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach and The Hills in East Quogue. The role runs from May 1 to October 12, 2026 and offers H‑2B visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas, including cleaning dishes, utensils, and food‑preparation equipment.
• Provide clean cooking utensils and ensure proper storage of chemicals and safety logs.
• Set up china, glassware, and silverware for all outlets daily.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as instructed.
• Monitor inventory levels for food, ingredients, dishware, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of dishwashers, stoves, ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and prep areas.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• At least three months experience in a high‑volume restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for more than four hours and lift up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Pass a background check (employer‑paid).
