Seasonal Crop Adjuster – Wisconsin & Minnesota

About the role

Zurich's Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) is seeking a Seasonal Crop Adjuster to serve farmers and ranchers in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The role is home‑based with flexible hours and requires up to 50% travel within the designated counties.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss crop loss findings with farmers.
• Gather and record detailed information on crop damage and transmit loss data to determine potential damages.
• Provide excellent service to agents and policyholders, ensuring timely and accurate claims processing via company software.
• Follow all regulatory, company rules, policies, and procedures.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of agricultural experience.
• Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of specified Wisconsin and Minnesota counties.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to meet physical requirements (walking up to 3 miles, climbing bins up to 25 ft, lifting 25‑50 lb).
• Obtain Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) within 180 days of hire.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.

• Hourly rate range $22.40‑$30.87 with eligibility for a 5% short‑term incentive bonus.
