Sales Planner

About the role

Katz Media Group, part of iHeartMedia, is hiring a Sales Planner (listed as Sales Assistant) in New York to act as an extension of its sales team. The company represents the on-air and online assets of more than 4,000 radio stations and 800 television stations and is based in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and support the sales process and procedures used by Katz Media's sales teams
• Enter and revise orders
• Submit special billing requests
• Work with Account Executives to generate proposals
• Respond to Account Executive requests regarding spot times
• Assist the sales team with sales material creation and recaps

Required profile

• Previous experience in a sales support or operational support role
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of media sales or strong desire to learn about media sales
• Bi-lingual is a plus

Required skills

• Technical aptitude with knowledge of Salesforce, Wrike and Veritone is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving within established procedures and professional collaboration
