Join Ochsner’s Emergency Department in Marrero as a full‑time RN on the day shift, providing compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and lead the interdisciplinary team.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate outcomes and promote change.
• Adapt behavior to respect patient privacy, cultural diversity, and individual needs.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
