About the role
Callicoon Hills, a boutique hotel and event venue in the Catskills, is seeking a remote Reservations Coordinator. You will be the engine that keeps all guest bookings, group room blocks, and event lodging running smoothly, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and the on‑property team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day reservations: new bookings, modifications, cancellations, confirmations, and guest inquiries.
- Coordinate group room blocks from setup through cutoff, handling guest lists and rooming lists.
- Process refunds, billing adjustments, and reservation corrections accurately.
- Support lodging logistics for weddings, corporate retreats, and other on‑property events.
- Maintain clear communication between remote reservation activity and the on‑site team.
- Keep reservation and property management systems up‑to‑date and error‑free.
- Handle pre‑arrival guest communications and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Required profile
- Hands‑on hospitality experience, preferably in boutique hotels or resorts.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while staying connected to an on‑site team.
- Strong written communication with a polished, guest‑facing tone.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple requests.
- Calm under pressure and genuinely team‑oriented.
Required skills
- Experience with Mews property management system.
