About the role
The Simon‑Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide is seeking a research intern to support its mission of identifying warning signs and analyzing lessons from past genocides. This paid, remote internship offers hands‑on experience in genocide‑prevention research and policy analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with projects and activities related to genocide prevention.
- Support research on warning signs, case analysis, and reporting on at‑risk countries.
- Contribute to literature reviews, data collection, and synthesis of findings.
- Help prepare briefs, presentations, and publications for internal and external audiences.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Strong interest in genocide studies, human rights, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
