About the role
The Clinical Project Statistician (Advisor - Statistics) supports protocol design, clinical planning, and data analysis in collaboration with physicians, scientists, and medical colleagues. This position is intended for a current graduate student completing a Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with study personnel to design studies, write protocols, and develop statistical analysis plans.
- Establish reporting databases, select appropriate statistical methods, and conduct analyses.
- Maintain data quality assurance plans and stay current with novel statistical methodologies.
- Peer‑review work of statistical colleagues and communicate results via regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and presentations.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Statistics or Biostatistics, graduating by September 2027.
- Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage competing deliverables and demonstrate creativity and innovation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS, R, and Python.
- Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and regulatory submission processes.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, automation tools) in research or analytics settings.
