About the role
Provide professional nursing care on the night shift for a float pool, delivering assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with LVHN policies.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Deliver patient and family education throughout the treatment course and support transitions of care.
- Participate in evidence‑based practice, performance improvement processes, and unit goals.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) and ability to maintain unit‑specific competencies.
- Ability to organize, prioritize assignments, and perform physical tasks such as lifting 40‑50 lb.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
