About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, working the night shift at the Schuylkill campus. Provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
- Participate in evidence‑based practice, performance improvement, and research projects.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license for Pennsylvania (required upon hire).
- Basic computer skills and ability to prioritize patient care assignments.
- Successful completion of orientation programs and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies.
Required skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (required upon hire).
- Basic computer proficiency.
