About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse in the NICU unit, providing professional nursing care on the night shift at Lehigh Valley Hospital‑Pocono.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated NICU patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
- Participate in performance improvement and evidence‑based practice projects.
- Teach and mentor new colleagues and interns, and delegate tasks appropriately.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 1 year acute‑care experience or experience relevant to the NICU service line.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments and maintain unit‑specific competencies.
- Successful completion of orientation programs related to the specialty.
Required skills
- BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- Basic computer skills.
