About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the ICU night shift at its Hazleton location. This full‑time position works a 72‑hour bi‑weekly schedule and includes eligibility for a sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated ICU patients, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course and support smooth transitions of care.
• Participate in performance improvement processes, evidence‑based practice, and research projects as applicable.
• Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) and ability to maintain unit‑specific competencies.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver safe patient care in a fast‑paced ICU environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
