Registered Nurse – Corporate Wellness (PRN) – Baton Rouge

About the role

This position provides health promotion activities, including screenings, at corporate wellness events for Ochsner and its partners. The RN will deliver clinical expertise, education, and care to screening participants while supporting both corporate clients and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health promotion activities and screenings at corporate wellness events.
• Maintain professional development, clinical knowledge, and required credentials.
• Participate in projects that improve the quality of health‑care events and provide feedback to the wellness department.
• Assess clients’ health status (physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual) and deliver appropriate care.
• Identify learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient groups.
• Adapt communication and procedures to respect privacy and cultural preferences.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (required).
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
