Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit

About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse on the Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit, providing professional nursing care in a nationally recognized, Magnet® hospital. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to performance improvement processes.
• Provide patient and family education, coordinate transitions of care, and perform validated technical skills specific to the unit.
• Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments, and successfully complete orientation programs related to the specialty.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 40‑50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and perform patient transfers.

Required skills

• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.
