About the role

The Regional Commercial Banking Relationship Manager II serves as a trusted advisor to commercial clients, delivering a full suite of banking solutions to meet their financial objectives. This role involves building and managing a portfolio of relationships while ensuring risk and credit quality are maintained in line with Northwest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand existing commercial banking relationships and actively prospect new clients.
• Collaborate with product partners to cross‑sell services and generate referrals.
• Manage a commercial loan portfolio, including credit and non‑credit clients, and ensure timely loan presentations and renewals.
• Analyze financial statements, monitor client performance, and work with portfolio management on risk assessments.
• Participate in community networking events and cultivate Centers of Influence for business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
• 5‑6 years of account relationship management experience with strong sales performance.
• Proven ability to manage credit risk and loan servicing.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and industrial (C&I) lending and loan structuring.
• Strong negotiating skills related to loan terms and pricing.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
