Red Hat Ansible Engineer

About the role

The Red Hat Ansible Engineer will design, implement and manage automated configuration and deployment solutions using Red Hat Ansible. You will collaborate with system administrators, developers and IT leadership to streamline a wide range of operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation strategies, write Ansible playbooks, set up Ansible Tower and integrate with other tools.
• Manage configuration of servers, networks and software, ensuring compliance with standards and security policies.
• Automate software deployments across environments and support development teams in CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot Ansible environments, provide technical support and maintain documentation and reporting.
• Train and mentor IT staff on Ansible usage and promote automation across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 3+ years managing Ansible environments.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Ansible, playbooks, roles and Ansible Tower.
• Linux system administration, shell scripting, networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience with configuration management or IT automation tools is a plus.
