Receiving Lead – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee daily inbound logistics at its Alachua, Florida warehouse. The role ensures shipments are received accurately, inventory is tracked, and the receiving team operates efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and delegate daily work assignments for the Receiving department.
• Lead unloading, verification, and processing of inbound shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely.
• Inspect, document, and reconcile incoming materials and equipment.
• Troubleshoot receiving and inventory issues to minimize disruptions.
• Manage dock scheduling and workflow for efficient material movement.
• Process high‑volume receiving transactions while maintaining accuracy.
• Support buyers by researching and resolving discrepancies and location inquiries.
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and inventory records.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and quality compliance.
