Technical Operations Coordinator – 1 Year Contract

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Technical Operations Coordinator on a one‑year contract to support its Flight Simulator Maintenance and Logistics team at the Airbus Training Center in Miami. You will work closely with simulator technicians and engineers to keep training devices operating at peak reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on flight simulators, ensuring safe return to service.
• Manage logistics operations, including part ordering, stock control, inventory tracking and component staging.
• Provide 24/7 operational support, respond to AOG (Aircraft On Ground) events, and make rapid decisions to minimise downtime.
• Communicate maintenance status and estimated repair times to customers and technical leads, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Monitor daily processes and suggest improvements to enhance safety, efficiency and equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, round‑the‑clock environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers.
• Organisational aptitude to handle multiple logistics tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Miami Training Center.

Required skills

• Experience with flight simulator maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.
